Step 1 — Download your full results PDF

LCLabCorp: Log in at patient.labcorp.com → Results → click your visit date → click "Download Results PDF" (upper-right corner). One PDF contains every panel ordered that day.

QQuest: Log in at myquest.questdiagnostics.com → Results → select your visit → click Print / Download. One PDF per visit, all panels included.

⚠ If CRP or HbA1c were ordered separately from your CBC/CMP, they appear as a separate result entry in the portal, with a different date or collection time. Download that PDF too — you'll need those values for Groups 2 and the CBC section.

Step 3 — Absolute counts vs. percentages (CBC Differential)

Your CBC report lists white cell counts twice — first as percentages (%), then as absolute counts (×10³/µL). ImmuneSpan needs the absolute counts.

LCLabCorp: Look for rows labeled "Neutrophils (Absolute)", "Lymphs (Absolute)", "Monocytes (Absolute)". The percentage rows above them (e.g., Neutrophils = 62%) are not what you want.

QQuest: Look for rows labeled "ABSOLUTE NEUTROPHILS", "ABSOLUTE LYMPHOCYTES", "ABSOLUTE MONOCYTES". These typically appear after the RBC indices.

💡 If your report only shows percentages (no absolute counts), use the "My CBC report shows percentages" calculator below Group 1 — enter the % values plus your WBC count and the absolutes will be computed.

Step 4 — eGFR: which row to use

Older reports (pre-2023) show two eGFR rows: "eGFR If NonAfricn Am" and "eGFR If Africn Am". Use whichever applies to you, or use the first row — the difference is typically small. Newer reports (2023+) show a single "eGFR" row using the race-neutral CKD-EPI 2021 formula.

Step 5 — ALT and AST label variants

LabCorp labels these "ALT (SGPT)" and "AST (SGOT)". Quest labels them simply "ALT" and "AST". Both are the same test — enter either number.

The "my results are split into categories" problem

Some hospital portals (Epic MyChart, Cerner, MEDITECH) and direct-to-consumer platforms reorganize results by health category instead of by panel. Tips:

1Look for a "Download" or "Print" button — most portals offer a single consolidated PDF even if the on-screen view is split into categories.

2Ask your doctor's office to fax or email you the original lab report PDF directly from LabCorp or Quest — this is the unmodified full report.

3If using Apple Health or a third-party app that imports lab data, export as PDF or use the individual values listed in each health category — they match the panel groups in the table above.

4If values are on a physical paper printout, the PDF scanner on this page works with a phone camera photo — tap "Upload PDF or Image" above and take a clear, flat photo of the page.

Patient Demographics

Age (years) ?Enter your age in whole years at the time of the blood draw. Accepted range: 18–120.

Biological Sex ?Used to apply sex-specific reference ranges from the NHANES population normalization model.

Group 1 — Blood Cell Counts (CBC Differential)

LabCorp: Section called "CBC With Differential/Platelet" — enter values from the (Absolute) rows (e.g. "Neutrophils (Absolute)"), not the % rows above them. · Quest: Section called "CBC (INCLUDES DIFF/PLT)" — enter values from the "ABSOLUTE …" rows. · Inflammation ratios (NLR, MLR, SIRI, PIV, AISI) are computed automatically from these four values.

Neutrophils (Abs, ×10³/µL) ?Absolute Neutrophil Count. Normal: 1.8–7.7 ×10³/µL. Primary drivers of acute inflammation; elevated in systemic stress and inflammaging.

Lymphocytes (Abs, ×10³/µL) ?Absolute Lymphocyte Count. Normal: 1.0–4.8 ×10³/µL. Declining lymphocyte counts are a hallmark of immunosenescence.

Monocytes (Abs, ×10³/µL) ?Absolute Monocyte Count. Normal: 0.2–0.9 ×10³/µL. Key driver of chronic low-grade inflammation.

Platelets (×10³/µL) ?Platelet count. Normal: 150–400 ×10³/µL. Used to compute PIV and AISI inflammation indices.

WBC (×10³/µL) ?Total White Blood Cell count. Normal: 4.5–11.0 ×10³/µL. Optional — enter if listed on your report.

CRP / hs-CRP (mg/L) ?C-Reactive Protein. Optimal: <1.0 mg/L · Moderate risk: 1–3 · High risk: >3. Primary direct inflammaging biomarker in the NHANES model.

RDW (%) ?Red Cell Distribution Width. Normal: 11.5–14.5%. Elevated RDW is a validated, independent wellness aging marker in NHANES population cohorts.

Albumin (g/dL) ?Serum Albumin. Normal: 3.5–5.0 g/dL. Decreases in chronic inflammation (negative acute-phase reactant). Key component of CRP/Albumin ratio.

HbA1c (%) ?Glycated hemoglobin. Normal: <5.7% · Pre-diabetes: 5.7–6.4% · Diabetes: ≥6.5%. Reflects 3-month average glucose exposure.

Glucose (mg/dL) ?Fasting blood glucose. Normal fasting: 70–99 mg/dL · Pre-diabetes: 100–125 · Diabetes: ≥126. Enter fasting value when available.

Group 3 — Organ Function

All three values are in the CMP section. · LabCorp labels: "ALT (SGPT)", "AST (SGOT)", "eGFR If NonAfricn Am" (or just "eGFR" on 2023+ reports using the race-neutral formula). · Quest labels: "ALT", "AST", "eGFR NON-AFR. AMERICAN". Use whichever eGFR row appears first — the race-specific rows give the same value for most patients.

eGFR (mL/min/1.73m²) ?Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate. Normal: ≥90. Mild reduction: 60–89. Moderate: 30–59. Kidney wellness indicator.

ALT (U/L) ?Alanine Aminotransferase (liver-specific). Normal: 7–56 U/L (M), 7–40 U/L (F). Elevated in hepatic stress, NAFLD, and metabolic syndrome.

AST (U/L) ?Aspartate Aminotransferase. Normal: 10–40 U/L. AST/ALT ratio used in liver pattern characterization.

Group 4 — Lipid Panel

LabCorp: Section "Lipid Panel" — order is Total Cholesterol → HDL → LDL → Triglycerides → VLDL. · Quest: Section "LIPID PANEL, STANDARD" — order is Total Cholesterol → HDL → Triglycerides → LDL → Non-HDL. We use Total Cholesterol, HDL, and Triglycerides only — skip LDL, VLDL, and Chol/HDL Ratio rows.

Total Cholesterol (mg/dL) ?Total Cholesterol. Desirable: <200 mg/dL · Borderline-high: 200–239 · High: ≥240. Used in Atherogenic Index calculations.

HDL (mg/dL) ?HDL-Cholesterol. Protective: ≥60 mg/dL. Low (<40 M / <50 F) is an independent cardiovascular risk factor. Used in TG/HDL ratio.

Triglycerides (mg/dL) ?Fasting triglycerides. Normal: <150 · Borderline: 150–199 · High: 200–499 · Very high: ≥500. TG/HDL ratio is a surrogate for insulin resistance.

MCV (fL) ?Mean Corpuscular Volume. Normal: 80–100 fL. Component of the MCV/RDW ratio engineered feature.

MCH (pg) ?Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin. Normal: 27–33 pg. Reflects average hemoglobin content per red cell.

MPV (fL) ?Mean Platelet Volume. Normal: 7.5–12.5 fL. Elevated MPV indicates platelet activation — a thromboinflammatory marker. Used in Platelet Mass (MPV × PLT / 1000).

RBC (×10⁶/µL) ?Red Blood Cell count. Normal: 4.5–5.9 (M), 4.0–5.2 (F) ×10⁶/µL. Input for MCV-derived engineered features.

Eosinophils% (%) ?Eosinophil percentage. Normal: 1–4%. Used in ELR (Eosinophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio) engineered feature.

Basophils% (%) ?Basophil percentage. Normal: 0–1%. Rarely elevated in routine panels; associated with allergic and autoimmune responses.

Neutrophils Abs (×10³/µL) ?Absolute Neutrophil Count if listed separately. Preferred over percentage-derived values for NLR precision.

Lymphocytes Abs (×10³/µL) ?Absolute Lymphocyte Count if listed separately. Preferred over differential percentage for NLR/PLR/LMR calculations.

Monocytes Abs (×10³/µL) ?Absolute Monocyte Count if listed separately. Feeds directly into high-precision SIRI and PIV calculation.

Sodium (mEq/L) ?Serum Sodium. Normal: 136–145 mEq/L. Used in Anion Gap (Na − Cl − HCO₃) and Osmolality Gap calculations.

Potassium (mEq/L) ?Serum Potassium. Normal: 3.5–5.0 mEq/L. Na/K ratio is an electrolyte balance feature in the enhanced model.

Chloride (mEq/L) ?Serum Chloride. Normal: 98–106 mEq/L. Required for Anion Gap calculation.

Bicarbonate (mEq/L) ?CO₂ / Bicarbonate. Normal: 22–29 mEq/L. Acid-base balance marker; contributes to TRIIM proxy and Anion Gap.

Phosphorus (mg/dL) ?Serum Phosphorus. Normal: 2.5–4.5 mg/dL. Used in Phos-eGFR Index and the TRIIM proxy feature.

Osmolality (mOsm/kg) ?Serum Osmolality. Normal: 275–295 mOsm/kg. Used in Osmolality Gap feature for hydration and metabolic assessment.

Creatine Kinase (U/L) ?CK / CPK. Normal: 38–308 U/L (M), 22–198 U/L (F). Muscle-derived; used in CK-Albumin ratio engineered feature.
